For vendors

The editorial wall

• Scores and rankings are never for sale. Every product is ranked by the same published formula, whether it pays us or not.
• Featured placements sit outside ranked tables and are labelled "Featured" or "Category sponsor" wherever they appear. They never appear on product reports.
• Claimed profiles are labelled as vendor-provided. Your tagline, description, logo, HQ and founding year appear in a "From the vendor" panel, and never feed the Fit Score. Profile text is factual: no superlatives, unverifiable claims or competitor comparisons.
• A placement buys a labelled position, not results. We don't promise traffic, leads, rankings or AI citations.
• Product data still needs a public source. Prices, capabilities and lab results change only when we can verify them on a public page, for every vendor.
• We can decline any application, and a declined application is never charged.

Who can be listed

A product is eligible if it meets all of the following:

• It protects business endpoints. Antivirus/EPP, EDR, or an endpoint bundle that includes managed detection and response.
• It is sold to small businesses. A small business can buy it directly or through a reseller or MSP, without an enterprise-only contract.
• It has a public product page describing what the product includes.

Published pricing is not required. Quote-only products are listed and marked as such. Independent lab results are not required either. Products without them are listed with "no public independent test results" stated plainly.

How it works

1. Choose. Find your product, or add a new one, and pick a free listing, a Claimed listing, a Featured placement or a Category Sponsor slot.
2. Submit. Add your vendor profile and your work email on the product's own domain. Nothing is charged when you submit.
3. Review. We confirm you represent the vendor and check the details. For a new product, we verify every value against your public pages and independent lab sites before it is published.
4. Pay and go live. For a paid plan we send payment details by email once approved. The placement goes live when payment is received and runs for one year.
5. Stay current. Prices and lab results are re-checked every week. Send updates at any time.

Already listed?

If your product is already on Endpoint Index, you can:

• Correct a fact. Send a link to the public page that shows the correct value. We verify it and record the change in the changelog.
• Update pricing. Send your current list price and the page it appears on. We verify it before updating.
• Claim the listing. Get the verified vendor badge and edit your vendor profile.

Product data cannot be edited directly by anyone, including Claimed vendors. Every change goes through the same verification and appears in the changelog.
