1. Acceptance

By accessing endpointindex.com ("the Site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. What the Site provides

EndpointIndex is an independent editorial database of endpoint-security products for small and mid-size businesses. The Site publishes factual data sourced from vendor websites, independent test labs, and public reports. Every factual claim carries a source URL and a verification date.

The Site does not provide personalised security advice, managed services, or product recommendations tailored to your specific environment. Data is published for informational purposes. You are responsible for your own purchasing and security decisions.

3. Accuracy and limitations

We verify data according to our published methodology. However:

• Data may become outdated between verification cycles (90-day cadence).
• Vendor pricing, features, and test results may change without notice.
• The SMB Fit Score is a formula applied to published fields, not an editorial judgment of product quality.
• "No public results" means we found no current independent lab results — it does not mean the product is ineffective.

We correct errors promptly when reported. Use [email protected] to flag any issue.

4. Affiliate links and sponsorship

Some pages contain affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, Endpoint Index Media may receive a commission from the affiliate network. Affiliate links are always labelled and carry rel="sponsored nofollow".

Vendors may purchase labelled "Featured" placement on category pages. Sponsorship is disclosed on every page where it appears. Sponsorship cannot influence data, scores, rankings, or editorial content. See For Vendors and About for full disclosure.

5. Intellectual property

The database structure, fit-score formula, and editorial text are the property of Endpoint Index Media. Entity data derived from public vendor pages and lab reports is factual and not claimed as original.

You may link to any page on the Site. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute the database in bulk without written permission.

6. Vendor submissions

Vendors who submit corrections, claims, or enquiries via /vendors/ or vendor forms grant Endpoint Index Media a non-exclusive right to use the submitted information for the purpose of maintaining the database. Vendors retain ownership of their submissions. Endpoint Index Media will not publish vendor contact details.

7. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of data.

8. Limitation of liability

Endpoint Index Media shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its data, including but not limited to purchasing decisions, security incidents, or data loss.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date.
