Who is it for, and who is it not for?
ThreatDown Elite is the only product in this index that puts a 24/7 managed detection service behind an online checkout. Five devices is the minimum, setup takes about an hour, and alerts go to ThreatDown's analysts rather than to you. That is the right shape for an office with no IT staff; the weakness is testing: the last AV-Test business result dates from 2023 and the last AV-Comparatives one from 2022, and its 2024 MITRE result now counts as dated.
Elite lets a small MSP resell 24/7 managed response without hiring analysts, on the same integration set as Advanced (11 RMM and PSA tools, three SIEMs). Online prices stop at 20 devices; larger quantities are sold by quote through ThreatDown or partners. Check whether clients need email security, which ThreatDown sells separately.
Round-the-clock monitoring does not change Elite's HIPAA position: Malwarebytes declines to sign a BAA here too. Card-handling businesses are on firmer ground, with a PCI DSS Attestation of Compliance in place. Defence contractors will find no CMMC statement.
