Who is it for, and who is it not for?

SMALL OFFICE, NO IT STAFF

WatchGuard Endpoint Security 360 (formerly WatchGuard EPDR) makes sense if you already work with a WatchGuard partner, since a partner is the only way to buy it. It combines EDR with prevention in one cloud console, runs without in-house security staff, and covers phones as well as computers. Expect a quote rather than a price.

MANAGED BY AN MSP

For MSPs running their own SOC, Endpoint Security 360 has the longest SIEM list in this index: eight named products, from Splunk and QRadar to FortiSIEM and LogRhythm. RMM and PSA coverage includes Kaseya VSA, N-able N-central and N-sight, NinjaOne, ConnectWise Manage, Autotask and HaloPSA. Monthly billing by active endpoint lets an MSP add and drop clients without annual commitments.

REGULATED (HIPAA, PCI, CMMC)

Endpoint Security 360 has the EDR a regulated buyer needs, but the paperwork is incomplete. PCI DSS support material exists; WatchGuard's HIPAA page does not say it signs a BAA, and there is no CMMC or FedRAMP statement. Get the BAA in writing from the partner before any covered entity deploys it.

NOT FOR, OR WORTH KNOWING
  • Small businesses wanting self-serve online purchase: the product page offers only 'Demo Now' and 'Contact Sales,' with no buy-now checkout; Endpoint Security 360 is sold through the WatchGuard partner channel.watchguard.com · 2 Oct ↗
  • Organisations that require a published, signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement: WatchGuard's HIPAA page describes how its features support HIPAA technical safeguards but does not state that WatchGuard offers a signed BAA.watchguard.com · 2 Oct ↗
  • Not in AV-Test or AV-Comparatives business tests. The independent results WatchGuard lists for Endpoint Security are SE Labs Endpoint Protection Suite AAA ratings (Q4 2025 and Q1 2026) and MITRE ATT&CK evaluations; the 2025 MITRE round (ER7) was run on Advanced EPDR, now Endpoint Security Elite, not on this tier.watchguard.com · 2 Oct ↗
