Huntress Managed EDR is the better choice for a business with nobody to run EDR, because its 24/7 security team is in the price; SentinelOne Singularity Complete is the stronger tool for a team that will operate it. At 100 endpoints Huntress lists $9,588.00 a year against $17,999.00 for SentinelOne, and SentinelOne sells no managed service for Complete at all. As of September 2026, SentinelOne's renewal terms deserve as much scrutiny as its features.

Huntress costs less at 100 seats and includes the people

At list price the managed product is the cheaper one here. Huntress Managed EDR at 100 endpoints lists below SentinelOne Singularity Complete at 100, and the Huntress figure already includes a 24/7 security operations centre with an advertised 8-minute mean time to respond (a marketing figure, not a contractual SLA). On SentinelOne Complete, 24/7 managed response is not offered: SentinelOne's package table lists its MDR service only for the dearer Commercial and Enterprise tiers.

Below 50 endpoints the comparison changes shape. Huntress's direct and reseller price starts at 50 endpoints, and its MSP-channel rates are not public. SentinelOne publishes a price from 5 workstations ($1,799.90 a year for 10), though it sells only through partners and warns that they set the final figure. A 10-person firm cannot compare these two on published numbers; it has to collect two quotes.

What SentinelOne gives you that Huntress does not

SentinelOne Singularity Complete is the fuller product. It includes ransomware rollback and device control; on Huntress both are not offered. It sells mobile protection as an add-on, and SIEM export is included. Its compliance paperwork is broader: a HIPAA business associate agreement, PCI DSS support, CMMC material and FedRAMP High authorisation.

Huntress Managed EDR answers with people and plumbing. It publishes a long list of RMM and PSA connectors, from ConnectWise and Autotask to NinjaOne and Datto RMM, where SentinelOne names ConnectWise and NinjaOne. For an MSP, that list decides a lot.

Neither has current lab evidence. SentinelOne's ER6 result from 2024 (72 of 80 substeps detected before configuration changes) is now past our 18-month limit, it skipped MITRE's 2025 round, and its most recent AV-Test or AV-Comparatives business appearance was in 2017. Huntress has published no lab results at all. Their Fit Scores, 35 for Huntress and 33 for SentinelOne, are both held down by that missing evidence.

The contract small print

SentinelOne Singularity Complete renews itself under section 11.1 of the Master Subscription Agreement. You opt out in writing, and the deadline is 30 days before the term closes. Miss that date without placing a new purchase order and SentinelOne charges the renewal at 120% of what you paid last time.

Huntress direct contracts run for 12 months, with a choice of monthly billing on deployed usage or one annual payment for the committed minimum. Huntress says it offers no multi-year terms, so there is no way to lock a price beyond one year. Its public pricing page does not state what happens at renewal, which is a gap in its own right.

Where buyers go wrong with this pair

  • Comparing SentinelOne's list price with Huntress's and stopping there. Complete is a tool with nobody at the controls until you add people. Price the MSP or in-house time before you compare.
  • Choosing Huntress for a practice that needs a BAA. Huntress will not sign one. If your compliance programme requires a BAA from every security vendor, SentinelOne meets that and Huntress does not.
  • Letting SentinelOne auto-renew at the uplifted rate. Diarise the notice date the day you sign.

A short decision guide

  • No IT staff, no MSP, 50 or more endpoints: Huntress Managed EDR, bought direct.
  • No IT staff, fewer than 50 endpoints: Huntress through an MSP.
  • An IT team or MSP that wants rollback, device control and FedRAMP-grade paperwork: SentinelOne Singularity Complete.
  • Healthcare with a BAA requirement: SentinelOne, plus an MSP or IT provider to run it.
  • Defence supply chain: either can work. Huntress says it operates as a Security Protection Asset and does not need FedRAMP; SentinelOne holds FedRAMP High. Ask your assessor which position they accept.

Ask these before you sign

From the SentinelOne partner, get a written quote covering Complete and the renewal clause, since the list price is only a guide, and ask for an evaluation licence, because SentinelOne publishes no free trial. Huntress offers a 14-day trial. Ask Huntress, or the MSP reselling it, what the renewal terms are and whether monthly usage billing is available at your size.

Does SentinelOne Singularity Complete include 24/7 monitoring?

No. SentinelOne's package table lists no managed detection and response for Complete, only for its Commercial and Enterprise tiers, while Huntress includes its 24/7 SOC in the Managed EDR price.

Which is better for a medical practice?

SentinelOne Singularity Complete, if the practice needs a signed business associate agreement. Huntress does not provide BAAs.

Does Huntress offer ransomware rollback like SentinelOne?

No. SentinelOne Complete can reverse ransomware changes automatically; Huntress leaves that job to its analysts, who contain the attack and walk you through cleanup.

Can a defence contractor use Huntress without FedRAMP?
