Questions about Sophos pricing
Why does Sophos not publish its prices?
Sophos does not say why. Its How to Buy page offers a quote form and a "Buy now with AWS" link, and the AWS Marketplace listing, sold by Sophos itself, is the only place it shows a price.
Does Sophos charge extra for servers?
Yes. Sophos's tech specs say Windows Server and Linux devices "require a subscription to Sophos Workload Protection". On AWS Marketplace a server costs $222.00 a year at the EDR level, $239.73 for XDR and $390.72 for MDR, against $110.00, $136.60 and $239.64 for a user.
Does Sophos sign a HIPAA business associate agreement?
Sophos does not say. Its HIPAA page reports a HIPAA attestation for Sophos Central products, but no Sophos page we checked on 30 September 2026 mentions a business associate agreement. Ask your partner or Sophos in writing.
