Questions about Bitdefender pricing

What is the difference between GravityZone Business Security and GravityZone Business Security Premium?

GravityZone Business Security Premium adds fileless attack protection, tunable machine learning and cloud sandbox and costs $49.50 more a device a year ($88.00 against $38.50). Neither includes EDR.

Does Bitdefender charge extra for servers?

Not on Business Security or Premium. The calculator counts "laptops, desktops, file servers" as devices at the same price, which sets Bitdefender apart from Microsoft and Sophos, where servers need their own licence.

Is there a free Bitdefender GravityZone trial?

Yes. Bitdefender offers a free trial of Business Security and says you "must purchase a paid subscription plan before the trial period ends" to keep the protection running. The page does not give the trial length.

Does Bitdefender sign a HIPAA business associate agreement?

Its website does not say whether it will. Bitdefender's HIPAA article reports an independent HIPAA assessment and tells customers with BAA questions to "contact their account manager". It also warns against sending files with patient data to the cloud sandbox, so a practice on Premium should switch automatic sample submission off.
