What separates the two entry plans?
These are the cheapest plans each vendor publishes a price for, and they are built for different buyers. CrowdStrike Falcon Go is prevention only: next-generation antivirus, device control and phone protection, bought by card. SentinelOne Singularity Control adds detection and response and ransomware rollback, and it is sold through partners. The facts table below this article covers EDR, managed response and rollback; these are the other lines where they part company.
| Product | Mobile | SIEM integration | RMM/PSA integration | MSP multi-tenant | Patch management |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Included | Not offered | Not offered | Not offered | Not offered | |
| Add-on | Included | Included | Included | Add-on |
Falcon Go covers iOS and Android in the price. SentinelOne sells mobile protection as an add-on, so an office whose staff work mostly from phones gets more from the cheaper plan.
Is SentinelOne Control real EDR?
Yes, with limits. SentinelOne's package table includes "Autonomous Prevention, Detection, and Response" in Control, and the product can roll back ransomware changes. It does not include XDR or data retention: those arrive with Singularity Complete, which keeps 14 days of history. For a small business that means Control can show an analyst what is happening now and undo an attack, but it is a thinner record for investigating something found a week later.
To get any EDR from CrowdStrike you have to skip Falcon Pro, which adds only firewall management, and buy Falcon Enterprise. The CrowdStrike pricing page shows what that step costs; it is more than twice the price of Control.
Who will read the alerts?
Control earns its extra cost only if a person acts on what it raises: an IT employee, or an MSP that runs it from SentinelOne's multi-tenant console and RMM integrations. SentinelOne offers no 24/7 managed service with Control. Without a responder, its EDR records events nobody looks at, and Falcon Go's automatic blocking is the protection you would use.
How do buying and renewal differ?
CrowdStrike Falcon Go is bought on CrowdStrike's own store, annually or monthly, with a 15-day free trial and a refund within 30 days on annual plans. It stops at 100 devices and renews at CrowdStrike's price at the time, with reminder emails before an annual renewal.
SentinelOne shows the Control price "for 5-100 workstations" and says every purchase goes through an authorised partner, whose price is the one you pay. There is no self-serve trial; the small-business page offers a demo. Its master subscription agreement renews each term automatically, at 120% of the previous order if you neither give 30 days' written notice nor place a renewal order. Put that date in the diary when you sign.
What do the lab results show?
Neither plan has current independent results of its own. SentinelOne's last MITRE ATT&CK round was ER6 in 2024, where it detected 72 of 80 substeps before configuration changes; it skipped the 2025 round, so that result now counts as dated, and it has no recent AV-Test or AV-Comparatives business entry. CrowdStrike's fresher results, 98.5% protection in AV-Comparatives' spring 2026 test and 89 of 90 detections in MITRE's 2025 round, were earned by Falcon Enterprise and its EDR, which Falcon Go does not include. The Fit Scores, 62 for Falcon Go and 37 for Control, therefore turn more on price, buying and coverage than on protection.
Which should you choose?
CrowdStrike Falcon Go fits an office of up to 100 devices with no IT staff and no MSP, where phones matter and paying by card, monthly if needed, keeps things simple.
SentinelOne Singularity Control fits a business whose IT person or MSP will triage alerts and wants rollback and RMM and SIEM connections for not much more money. A medical or dental practice has a further reason: SentinelOne says it may sign a business associate agreement, while CrowdStrike publishes no BAA offer.
Neither suits a business that wants people watching around the clock. For that, see the managed-response ranking. If you need SentinelOne's investigation history as well, the Falcon Go against Singularity Complete comparison covers the next tier up.
