## Who it suits

- small no it: Sophos Endpoint is a sensible choice for an office with nobody to tune settings, because Sophos ships it with its recommended protection switched on by default. AV-Test gave it full marks for protection when it tested it in August 2026. The nuisance is buying it: there is no public price, so you need a quote from Sophos or a partner, and servers need a separate Workload Protection subscription.
- msp managed: Sophos Endpoint gives an MSP a well-tested prevention layer across many clients, with multi-tenant management in Sophos Fusion and integrations with ConnectWise PSA, ConnectWise Automate, Autotask PSA and Kaseya VSA. It is the entry product, though. To investigate incidents, MSPs must move clients to Sophos EDR or above, because this product has no EDR.
- regulated: Sophos lists HIPAA, PCI DSS and CMMC on its trust pages, but no Sophos page mentions a HIPAA business associate agreement, so a covered entity has to ask for one. What this product cannot supply is investigation data after an incident, since it has no EDR. For a regulated practice, Sophos EDR is the Sophos product to price.
