## Who it suits

- small no it: Bitdefender GravityZone Business Security is the low-cost, well-tested choice for an office that only needs prevention. It shares the 99.8% AV-Comparatives protection result with its Premium sibling, includes ransomware rollback, and can be bought online. What it lacks is EDR, so if something does slip through you will find out late.
- msp managed: Business Security works for MSPs with many small, low-risk clients and thin margins. The multi-tenant console and RMM/PSA plugins are the same as Premium's, at a lower per-seat cost that drops again at volume. The missing EDR is the limit: when a client is hit, the SOC has prevention logs and little else.
- regulated: Regulated buyers should look beyond this tier, to Bitdefender's Enterprise tier or an EDR product, rather than stop here; Premium adds prevention, not EDR. Bitdefender publishes SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and a HIPAA compliance assessment, but it does not say it signs a BAA; its HIPAA page says it never handles ePHI and sends BAA questions to the account manager. Without EDR there is also little record of what happened on a device, which is the evidence the HIPAA audit controls standard (45 CFR 164.312(b)) expects you to be able to examine.
